A Few Suggested Itineraries

Once you have made the decision to visit the Holy Land, you are faced with several options at your disposal for making travel arrangements. The main questions to be answered include first and foremost the length of your journey.

When coming for up to 4-5 days, it is recommended to focus your trip on 1-2 days for Jerusalem, 1-2 for the north and maybe one for the Dead Sea or the coast, but go no further. You can naturally concentrate on one specific area, which would allow you to exhaust it and so to enjoy it to the fullest.

The ideal length of time, if possible, to dedicate to a guided journey through the Land of Israel is 12-13 days, when it's also recommended that you save aside an additional 2-3 days of relaxation or shopping in one of the major cities, such as Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. It may sound like a lot since the country is admittedly a small one, if not one of the smallest in existence. However, the fact that despite its limited size, there's not one person in the world who hasn't heard of Israel speaks volumes regarding the riches that it has to offer to any traveler.
The options here are practically endless and the history of the vast majority of the human race is tied in to this land.

Another question on which the construction of the optimal route would be based is the religious subject, meaning would you be interested in placing an emphasis on exploring sites concerning Judaism, Christianity, both or neither.

Of course, the tours can also be built around other fields of interest such as a wineries tour, extreme sports and so forth. For more information on this, you can read more about something a little different...

If you don't have a general idea of what you would like to see, then a good way to go about building your schedule is by checking out the sample itineraries supplied for your convenience on this site. They are of many different kinds, including ones with a Jewish or Christian emphasis and taking into account a varied number of days dedicated to this adventure. Each one of them can be change and made to fit you specifically. If you'd like to consult me in any matter related to planning your trip, please feel free to contact me.
