He never gave us fantasies or sold us fairy tales but the truth (given 4 of us were Pentecostals) on many sights that we visited. He was very friendly, very welcoming and even the car was very comfortable. In a nut shell, we were well taken care of. We visited Dead Sea, Jordan river, Qumrah (dead sea scrolls), Nazareth, Galilee, Cana, Jerusalem. I want to thank Ofir for such an awesome tour experience. He answered all my emails for 2 weeks prior to our arrival and was prompt and on-time the day of the tour. Ofir is knowledgeable and does a great job explaining the history of Israel, its major Holy cities, and the sites that are important. What I really appreciate is the fact that I have mobility issues (bad knee) and cannot walk long distances and through email Ofir told me not to worry and that he would take care of it. Imagine my surprise when we got to Jerusalem and there was a 6-seater golf cart waiting for me and my family!! We felt like VIPs as we were whisked along the cobblestone streets of Old Jerusalem and given door-front service to the most sought-after sites in Israel. Our tour in Jerusalem included the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, Palm Sunday Road, Old Jerusalem, King David’s tomb, the room of The Last Supper, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher which included Golgotha and Jesus’ tomb. From Jerusalem Ofir took us to a 500-year old Monastery for a great lunch, then we headed to Bethlehem where our new driver and guide were waiting to take us to the Church of the Nativity (Jesus’ birth place). Overall, Ofir’s tour was engaging, provided lots of information, and was well-organized. Definitely worth every penny and we will definitely call Ofir again the next time we are back in Israel.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Outstanding tour of Israel We, a family of 3, had the great opportunity of having Ofir Horn touring us for 5 days in Jerusalem, the North Coast, the Galillee and the Dead Sea. There are no words to describe Ofir's care and attention during our tour. This was our second (and third tour respectively) with Ofir and we can’t praise him enough!! He has an incredible knowledge base of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim history of the area. We felt he gave a very balanced and nuanced tour of the complex geo-political history of the area. He has a deep well of understanding and information on the three major religious groups who live and work in the area and, it’s obvious, he loves to share that information and is passionate about his subject matter. He is an excellent, and well trained guide who takes his job seriously. We highly recommend hiring him as a tour guide!!Posted on TripadvisorVerified Amazing spiritual, historical and cultural tour We were fortunate to connect with Ofir. He is a top notch guide. We are a bi lingual family and he is equally expert in both English and Spanish. Travel always involves unexpected challenges, Ofir helped us with travel surprises that occurred during the tour, but even more so issues that came up both before and after the tour. Ofir got us to all of the sites, on a very ambitious schedule, even though we were traveling with two toddlers and a senior citizen. Because of Ofir. We achieved all of our very ambitious goals. Ofir knows how to set the pace of the tour to meet his individual client needs. His wealth and breadth of knowledge of all matters to do with the country is amazing . One has to take time to hear his explanations even of sensitive issues .
